British Runner Sets A New Record Time In World Marathon

Every runner has a fixed mindset on how to be healthy and fitness junkie to fulfill his or her goal in a specific marathon challenges that will ever come. A British runner named Susannah Gill has taken home first place in the World Marathon Challenge. She is a 34-year-old woman who six of the race’s seven legs. The overall world record time was 24 hours, 19 minutes and 9 seconds at 295 km. The athlete doesn’t expect that she will get the record because all she wanted was to complete the race. She also added that if you really love what you are doing and you really work hard for it, you can achieve great things. It has never been easy for the first leg of the marathon as the temperature dropped as low as -35C as athletes set off to Icy, Novo Air Base, Antarctica. While on the men’s side, American Mike Wardian won first place with the overall time of 20 hours, 49 minutes and 30 seconds.

Maybe there is a training routine for runners to be physically fit. So if you toss into term “tempo run”, it only means that you are serious about your sport. In order to achieve this kind of strategy, your body must be able to clear as much as lactate. Lactate is a byproduct of burning carbohydrates into your body. And for those fond of heart monitors, tempo run should be done at 90 percent of maximum. Athletes from 15k marathon receive the most benefit from tempo run because adaptation to those races is more demanding than others.

According to Gill, she couldn’t recommend highly enough the challenge to anyone who wanted to try because there is always a challenge for every joy in running.
